On July 3, the federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management issued a request for public comment as it begins the process of creating a new 2019-24 energy leasing plan. North Carolina’s coast should not be included in this plan. Our coastal environment and economy are too valuable to put at risk.
You can sign our petition or submit your own comment. The federation will be sending in the petition signatures along with its comments by the Aug. 17 deadline.
