The North Carolina Coastal Federation is the state’s only nonprofit organization focused exclusively on protecting and restoring the coast of North Carolina through education, advocacy, and habitat restoration and preservation. Formed in 1982, the Federation focuses on three main program areas: habitat restoration and protection; environmental education; and the encouragement of sound environmental rules and regulations and their enforcement.
The Federation’s headquarters is located in Ocean. It also maintains field offices in Wrightsville Beach and in Wanchese.

Development Coordinator:
Description: The Development Coordinator will be responsible for researching and tracking new and existing foundation grant opportunities, developing proposals, and writing and submitting foundation grant requests and reports to support the mission and goals of the Federation. This position will also identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts, and build long-term relationship with donors to grow the Federation’s recurring revenues and support any capital campaigns.
