Student and teachers are visiting the Fred and Alice Stanback Coastal Education Center in Wrightsville Beach in increasing numbers. Since the federation’s education center opened on May 3, 2014 a variety of public education programs and events have drawn the public in to learn about the coastal environment.
The federation will host a Rain Garden Party on Saturday at out new Coastal Education Center and Southeast Office.
